Meemu Atoll

The island of Hakuraa Huraa is located in the Meemu atoll to the south of the capital city Male'. The meemu atoll is the smallest of the 26 atolls that make up the Maldives and it consists of 35 islands. The meemu atoll is also known as Malaku atoll it is a shut-in atoll that has an open lagoon surrounded by barrier reefs. Hakuraa Huraa is located 140 Km away from the Male' islands and can be reached by a scenic 45 minute sea plane ride, the hotel is situated on one of the longest stretches of coral reef, making it one of the most famous islands visited for its limitless opportunities in diving. The resort is bordered by a large shallow lagoon through the translucent waters the sugar white sands sparkle.
