The Bird TrailCinnamon Lodge Habarana is a bird's paradise; there have been over 138 species of birds spotted in the gardens of the hotel. Guests could participate in the bird trail at 7.00 am or 4.30 pm. Walk along the Habarana lake while spotting stork billed Kingfishers, and Asian Open bills and cross over the ramp, climb the wooden ladder and reach the birdwatchers platform. Here you could spot Black Darters and Teals. Walk through to the farm and spot the Blue Indian Roller amidst the cattle. The bird trail at the lodge lasts around one and a half hours and in a single walk one could spot as many as 70 species of birds.
